Nelson, the Clinton supporter, defers to Obama

Sen. Bill Nelson, who backs Hillary Clinton, just yielded to Barack Obama, letting Clinton's presidential rival ask questions of Gen. David Petraeus before Nelson takes his second round in the Senate Foreign Relations committee.

"I think that's a good idea," said onetime prez contender Sen. Joe Biden, who chairs the committee.

"Thanks to Sen. Nelson for his graciousness," Obama said before beginning his questioning.
