Clinton to Obama: Let's avoid a 2000 do-over, seat Florida

Hillary Clinton's camp continues to step up the push for Florida and Michigan, warning Barack Obama that failure to seat the delegations - based on the results of the two unsanctioned January primaries - "could be the difference between winning and losing in November.

"We cannot ignore the fact that the people in those states took the time to be a part of this process and to make their preferences known," Clinton wrote in an open letter to Obama. "In 2000, the Republicans won an election by successfully opposing a fair counting of votes in Florida. As Democrats, we must reject any proposals that would do the same.

"It is not enough to simply seat their representatives at the convention in Denver," wrote Clinton, who won the two states where the candidates had agreed not to campaign. "The people of these great states, like the people who have voted and are able to vote in other states, must have a voice in selecting our party's nominee."

The penalty for moving up the election in Michigan and Florida should be they are the last
votes to be counted, after all the other primary elections are held! Also all none declared delagates who did not vote for Hillary in Michigan and Florida Shall be Awarded to Obama.
So now(then) all votes will count and are equal.
We are a NATION OF LAWS via THE VOTE. Let us respect the rule to engage in a civil and orderly
election and not jump ahead of others to be more equal than others. As Democrats I expect equality and respect and fairness in voting
and conducting elections. Please and Thank you!
