Diaz-Balarts put aside politics, send best wishes to Kennedy

Sen. Edward Kennedy just left a Boston hospital and Miami Republicans Lincoln and Mario Diaz-Balart are wishing him a full recovery.

"We have had great differences with Senator Kennedy on multiple policy issues, but we recognize that, instead of opting for a life of leisure, he has dedicated his life to serving his constituents (who have consistently re-elected him), and the nation," the brothers said in a joint statement. "We wish Senator Kennedy well and pray for his prompt and full recovery."

The Massachusetts Democrat, who has championed immigrantion reform, earlier this week was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor.
