Hillary Clinton's new math

The cable networks are calling North Carolina for Barack Obama but also talking about Hillary Clinton's attempt to move the bar.

Campaigning at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway earlier today, several blogs noted that Clinton suggested a new "finish line" for the presidential nominating contest: "I think it's 2209," she said.

That figure means Florida and Michigan’s delegates are included in the overall count. The magic number for winning the nomination has long been assumed to be 2025, not including Florida and Michigan because they were stripped of their delegates.

ABC News' blog, Political Radar, reported that Clinton said claiming 2209 as the goal is not "disingenuous.

"There are going to be the rest of these contests which are very significant and then in June if we haven't done it already were going to have to resolve Florida and Michigan," ABC quoted Clinton as saying. "And they were legitimate elections."

IF YOU DON'T COUNT FLORIDA YOU GIVE IT TO THE REPUBLICANS. NEITHER DEMOCRAT WILL WIN IN NOVEMBER. IF YOU DO THEN CLINTON MAY WIN.WHAT A PROBLEM. BUT ONLY FOR OBAMA.NOT FOR THE DISENFRANCHISED VOTERS OF OUR STATE. OBAMA NEEDS TO BACK OFF.
