Ros-Lehtinen at odds with the Bush administration
Miami Republican Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, who staunchly backs President Bush on Iraq, is coming out strongly against the administration's stance on North Korea, warning in an opinion piece in the Washington Times that if the administration "expects to achieve anything of worth in the balance of its term, it must take immediate steps to repair its relationship with Congress."
Ouch! In the column, Ros-Lehtinen, the ranking Republican on the House Foreign Affairs committee and Rep. Peter Hoekstra, R-Mich., take the administration to task for not briefing Congress on a nuclear facility in Syria constructed with North Korean assistance.
"The Bush administration's failure to fully brief Congress on North Korea and Syria has done more than jeopardize the relationship between our two branches of government," they wrote. "It has denied the administration the benefit of congressional support that could have ensured an agreement with North Korea that avoided needless risks, instead of one that may be rushed, ill-conceived, and dangerous."

like rats jumping off a sinking ship. Only problem these are the same rats that help put the ship to sea. Hipocrites!
