If you have to even ask, then newspapers are in worse shape than anyone could imagine.

BTW, there's an incredibly good story about Obama in that issue that's required reading for politicos.

I found it a bit off given there was no explanation (which brings readers in). Must we really resort to such things to sell magazines though?
