The latest twist in the story about the fundraising adventures of a close friend to Gov. Charlie Crist continues today with a story in the New York Times that suggests it was actually a Jordanian business partner of Harry Sargeant III who appears "to be at the center of a cluster of questionable donations" to John McCain's presidential campaign.
The Washington Post Wednesday identified Sargeant as a major campaign bundler. But the Times story today says Sargeant "did not actually solicit" some of the donations outlined in the story.
