In the state's "tabletop" flu pandemic exercise, only one Cabinet officer paid the ultimate price: Agriculture Commissioner Charles Bronson. Bronson had a good sense of humor about it, saying: ''The cow man gets killed off by the dadgum chicken flu. That's terrible."'

Yeah, seriously - I thought the guy was actually dead. Please at least put "killed" in quotes or something to clarify that he's not actually dead.

Agree. Horrible headline. Thought because it was the blogs and "real time" info (I use that term oh-so-loosely), that it was fact as well. Get the headline changed, editors.
