Home sweet home

The bungalow where Whilly Bermudez says he lives -- his mother's house and his childhood home -- is nine miles from the one he owns, where he takes a homestead exemption.

Just a few doors down is the home where Larry Feldman says he does not live, although he has owned it for 30 years and his wife is still there.

Both changed their addresses -- and therefore their voting districts -- just before running for office, Feldman for the Miami-Dade School Board and Bermudez for the County Commission.

Home, sweet home, South Florida style.
