Jay-Z in the house for Obama

Hip-hop superstar Jay-Z will give a free concert at Bayfront Park in Miami Sunday to promote voter registration and Democrat Barack Obama's campaign.

Monday is the last day to register to vote for the Nov. 4 election, and the Obama campaign has been holding a number of events around the state to pump up the voting rolls. The campaign estimates it has registered 135,000 voters, though GOP officials question whether they will show up on Election Day.

For more information on the concert and how to get tickets, go to www.fl.barackobama.com. Doors open at 7 p.m.

If only a third of them show up, that's enough to swing the balance of this state easily
