The cry of the Yara

White House press secretary Dana Perino says today's Miami meeting with Cuban-American leaders will "reinforce the administration's commitment to Cuba, to a free Cuba."

And she noted Oct. 10 marks "Grito de Yara,' or 'the cry of the Yara,' which was Cuba's declaration of independence from Spain on October 10, 1868.' "
