Biden on McCain, Cheney, Bush and "obnoxious" protestors
As the presidential campaigns blitz the state, Democrat Joe Biden began a three-city college tour Sunday afternoon at Florida State University Sunday in an effort to gin up more youth support and paint Republican John McCain as wed to President Bush's tax policies and campaign tactics.
Biden updated his standard campaign-trail stump speech about fixing the economy and health care by emphasizing Vice President Dick Cheney's weekend endorsement of McCain.
''It's not surprising,'' Biden said. ``Dick Cheney has been wrong on everything in the last eight years. He's on a roll. Cheney is on a roll.''
A group of McCain supporters in the background chanted their candidate's name through a bull horn, yelled about Obama's 'socialist' policy to tax the wealthy and played a siren that looped in and out of earshot of Biden's 30-minute speech before the crowd of between 1,000 and 2,000.
''I thought it was a siren. It's just a whine,'' said Biden, who accused McCain and his campaign of ''taking the low road to the highest office'' by attacking Obama. McCain's campaign has leveled similar charges against Obama.
Biden called for an end to the negative politics.
''I know you find some of that obnoxious,'' Biden said amid the McCain siren. ``But look folks. We've got to reach out. We've got to end this. Somebody's got to be big enough to stand up and end this.''

There are those of us who are more inclined to vote for Obama simply because Cheney has endorsed McCain. But since Cheney knows this, it might mean that he wants us to vote for Obama. In that case, should we vote for McCain?
Sorry Dick, eight years of failed trickle down economics and misadventures are enough.

If Biden wanted a receptive audience, he should have gone to FAMU.

Obama is about "spreading the wealth": tax those who work to carry those who don't.
NOBODY will excape taxation to carry the "disadvantaged"...
