Bush/Graham chef headed to the Obama White House?

The New York Daily News says a Florida native who once cooked at the governor's mansion in Tallahassee for former guvs Bob Graham and Jeb Bush is among the list of "possible presidential cooking contenders" -- though no choice has been made.

Art Smith, a Jasper, Fla. native who started cooking for Graham after cooking school graduation, is among the three contenders profiled for the top kitchen spot at the White House. The Daily News says Smith "prepared Obama's meal at Oprah Winfrey's star-studded fund-raiser for the candidate at her home. He has won two James Beard Foundation awards and has cooked for former Florida governors Bob Graham and Jeb Bush."
