Crist praises Obama, Browning. No McCain mention.
How quickly we forget. Gov. Charlie Crist just issued this statement in which John McCain's name is conspicuously absent:
“I congratulate President-elect Barack Obama on his historic victory. Our nation’s democracy is a shining example admired throughout the world for its ability to peacefully transition from one leader to another. We in America can never take this process for granted.
“Now that the people of Florida and our nation have spoken, it is time for our nation to unite behind President-elect Obama with one purpose – to strengthen our economy and increase opportunity for all Americans. I have been privileged to work alongside Republicans and Democrats, and together, we have accomplished much for the people of Florida. It is amazing what we can acheive when we keep our focus on those who really matter – the people we serve – and not on worrying about who should get the credit.
“The right to choose our leaders is one of our most precious rights as Americans, and during this election, we saw historic numbers of Floridians register to vote for the first time, and then exercise that sacred right by casting a ballot. I thank Secretary of State Kurt Browning and all of our elections supervisors for their tremendous work to ensure a smooth election throughout Florida.”

Why on earth would he mention the runner up? This is a congratulatory message for the next president of the US and the local election system that stopped FL from being a laughing stock again (except for those stupid "turn the blocks into arrows" things that some county did--was it Palm?) There's no need in smooching the loser's butt. What should she thank him for? Running a failed campaign filled with missteps and miscalculations, negative ads, and the same old worthless argument over and over again? He lost. We should forget it. If it weren't for our $9T deficit, two wars, and a worldwide failed economy and recession, we could forget Bush too (we should be so lucky!)

Its important because it shows his character once again. After campaign for him and he skips the victory parties. Just like he waffles on a lot of other issues: Offshore drilling, Amendment 2, early voting, and a lot more.
If he stood as a moderate on principle, it would be okay, but Charlie likes to ignore problems and his mistakes.
When need a Governor that tackles problems head on and will help boost the economy and create jobs, not hold press conferences and claim to be rushing to urgent meetings so he looks better.
Last night is just a series in Crist getting it wrong and pretending he didn't. Such a contrast with Alex Sink:

I can’t believe CNN will not leave McCain and Palin alone. McCain conceded gracefully. I can’t believe people will not see Wall Street for what it is. The Government toying with American lives while swaying an election. CNN is really pushing the agenda of the all clean political Presidential Election, no bloody gloves involved. Sorry if I’m not jumping on the band wagon. I hope that this is still the free speaking America, and not the being labeled for seeing the government scare tactics for what it is. This isn't Race Or Gender or Age this is trying to find the ethics within our government which is guilty on both sides.

I have to admit, though I may not agree with Obama on issues. He is cut and dry concerning terror and peace. And doesn't use double think in his approach to addressing those issues.

Why do you insist on looking for some hidden rift between Gov. Crist and other Republicans. Geesh. Is it wishful thinking or just unthinking bias?

I have to admit, though I may not agree with Obama on many issues. He is cool like Jimi Hendrix. When people asked Hendrix which side of the cultural divide he stood on, Hendrix said, I don't stand on sides, I am one with the Universe. "Just a Metaphor"

CHARLIE CRIST and his boy JIM GREER failed to campaign actively for McCain like they should have. They are TRAITORS and both need to go.

Off the subject: Don't miss CNN's Jones Town Massacre, a psychological propaganda ploy to show a whack job Caucasian minister and divert attention off of Reverend Wright, the preacher who preaches against Caucasians.
I believe Obama wants to bring all of mankind together but the medias' still want to keep division in the world.
