Crist to CNN: Time to govern in "almost non-partisan way"

CNN's Wolf Blitzer just aired an interview taped with Gov. Charlie Crist yesterday in which the governor espouses his views on how to govern Florida in the post-election, pro-Obama Florida.

BLITZER: Let’s talk about you. They’re looking for a leader, these Republicans right now. Your name is frequently mentioned. Do you see yourself emerging in the next four years as a top leader of the Republican Party?

CRIST: Well, that’s for others to decide. My job is to be the best governor of Florida that I can possibly be. To get up and work every day to make sure that the quality of life that my fellow Floridians appreciate and enjoy continues. We have good education, we protect our environment, we keep our taxes low and we have a hopeful, optimistic, bipartisan, almost nonpartisan way of getting things done.

Crist is delusional. Nothing more needs to be said.

FLORIDA TO CRIST: How would you know> You have done NO governing. You've just been busy trying to get yourself elected Vice-President and throwing the Presidential race when you weren't. GO AWAY!

Maybe it's time for Gov Crist to switch parties, stand aside OR start acting like a principled Republican governor and lead.

Platitudes are not enough, they never were and aren't now. His statements are ridiculous. Compare the 2 paragraphs with Gov Jindal's remarks V. Gov Crist's in the Townhall article yesterday. Gov.Jindal's statement is substantive his says nothing.

And btw, since Charlie ran as a "Ronald Reagan Repulican" look what he embraced...Cap and trade mandates on businesses for Global Warming are not Republican, socialized state insurance is not Republican, restoring convicted felons rights is not Republican, expanding statewide gambling is not Republican. Talk about environmetnal pollution? Look no further than proliferating casinos in Florida, and what about the awful billboards children and families have to read springing up around the state on I-75 and 301 ruining our once beautiful highways?

Gov Crist should run as an Independent in his next quest for office. At least that would be intellectually honest. His actions have become the national standard bearer for pandering.
