Mason-Dixon: Obama 47, McCain 45

Mason-Dixon Polling & Research, Inc. just released its last Florida presidential poll, showing Barack Obama picking up 2 percentage points and John McCain losing 1 point since its last presidential poll. The 47-45 result is "still very much in the cone of probability for both candidates" to either win or lose said polster Brad Coker, but he added:

"I'd rather be 2 points up than 2 points down. The race is still very fluid. There are a lot of undecideds, and they're disproportionately white." And McCain, polls show, does a little better among white voters.

"The state remains a toss-up, which is bad news for McCain as he must win Florida to have any chance of winning the presidency.  His best hope could be the racial composition of Florida’s “undecided” voters, of whom 84% are white (6% of the total electorate), Coker wrote.

Not, what has he said or what has he promised, but WHAT HAS HE DONE? Nothing admirable - he requested almost $1 Billion in pork-barrel spending in his short time in office. (McCain - ZERO-in his entire career.) Obama received $126,000 from Fannie/Freddie in just 2 years. (McCain - $22,000 in 10 years!)Obama has no military experience. McCain would not be tested by foreign leaders, they know McCain will do whatever it takes to defend America and its citizens. Obama has no economic experience - he would have to rely on advisors just like McCain or any President. At least, Palin has had to make and balance a budget as a State Governor. McCain and Palin have fought for reform and reduced spending. I would be afraid for Biden to end up President because of his long history of saying the wrong things. He would start an international incident with his gaffs. Our country is already in tremendous debt and for Obama to promise a Trillion dollars in new spending is not realistic. Adding new or increased taxes on businesses is not going to grow new jobs - it will send companies out of our country. We already have over 50% of our citizens paying less than 2% of the taxes, while the upper 10% pay 70%. Obama cannot increase aid and reduce taxes on the lower 50% and increase spending and pay on the existing debt. Think about what Obama is saying - it does not make sense.
Make your vote count - VOTE McCAIN/PALIN - to get our country back on the road to prosperity.
