"Sen. Atwater, You sure you want to do this?'

The Senate's chief toastmaster, Jim King of Jacksonville, officially nominated Jeff Atwater to become the leader of the state senate. But the former Senate President King said Atwater faces a task like no other predecessor in inheriting a budget bleeding money and an economy bleeding jobs.

"This year, regardless of the past performances, will go down as the most challenging and difficult for presiding officers and budget writers," King said. "Sen. Atwater, are you sure you want to do this? Seriously. Luck of the draw."
