Jeb Bush: "I think history will be very kind to my brother"

Speaking at an event in Nigeria -- former Gov. Jeb Bush put in a plug for his brother.

"Although the topic of discussion was listed as Africa, one panelist — former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush — took time to discuss the merits of the outgoing administration of President George W. Bush," the Associated Press reports.

"I think history will be very kind to my brother," Bush said to about 200 attendees at the discussion arranged by ThisDay newspaper, one of the mass dailies in Africa's most-populous nation. "So I am very proud of his service."

Bush cited administration policies that pumped money into fighting HIV/AIDS and malaria in Africa, the world's poorest continent, the story notes.
