Nelson to next Secretary of State: Don't forget Haiti

Florida Sen. Bill Nelson is asking president elect Barack Obama's secretary of state designee Hillary Clinton -- now undergoing a confirmation hearing -- to press Iran to divulge more information about Robert Levinson, a retired FBI agent who went missing in 2007 from a Persian Gulf island.

He also asked that she "please keep an eye on Haiti" -- and beef up relations with Latin America.

"The Obama administration is seeking partnerships and friendships across Latin America," Clinton told Nelson, who backed her in the Democratic primaries. "We want to seize the opportunities in Latin America."
