The hottest video on YouTube ... your member of Congress?

The folks who can induce sleep on C-Span are moving onto YouTube with the launch of Senate Hub and House Hub -- sites where members of Congress can post their own video clips.

Congressional rules until recently had prevented members of congress -- but not their campaigns -- from linking to sites such as YouTube.

"While we may not see eye to eye on everything, one thing we can agree on is the importance of utilizing technology to communicate with constituents," says House Speaker Nancy Pelosi who appears in an introductory video with House Republican leader John Boehner.

Now it's open season. Among the early adapters: South Florida Democrats Kendrick Meek, Robert Wexler and Ron Klein, along with Miami Republican Mario Diaz-Balart. His site includes a 47-spot on his priorities for the new Congress.

"We need to pass the Colombia Free Trade Agreement," Diaz-Balart says in the piece.
