Charlie Crist makes the DC party circuit

For a man who is awfully coy about whether he has aspirations for the U.S. Senate, Florida Gov. Charlie Crist was at all the right parties over the weekend.

First, the Washington Post reports the Florida guv was among the attendees at a Virginia dinner hosted by Marlene and Fred Malek, who served as John McCain's national finance chair during the campaign.

The VIP crowd included McCain himself and his running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. Crist was also spotted at Saturday's Alfalfa Club dinner.
