Jeb Bush's beloved bond rating in peril?

Former Gov. Jeb Bush was extremely proud of the A bond rating attained under his watch. But with the Florida economy on the ropes, things have changed: Moody's has placed Florida on its rating downgrade watchlist.

It's a potentially troubling sign that House Republicans are using to make a point. A memo released this morning from Majority Leader Adam Hasner: "It took 30 years for Florida to achieve its Aa1 bond rating. Moody’s has now informed investors that we are 90 days away from losing it if we don’t make fiscally responsible long-term decisions in this budget."

Gov. Charlie Crist's response to the news: "pffft."
