Rubio's got $900,000 to spend

Marco Rubio -- who said he'd raised nearly $1 million -- has actually crossed the $1 million threshold, his campaign says today. His total haul: $1.6 million -- with $900,000 left to spend.

It's an impressive performance by an out of office politician running against a sitting governor. But it's dwarfed by the $6.2 million Gov. Charlie Crist has on hand, reinforcing the uphill battle Rubio has. (though a portion of Crist's take is reserved for the general election and can't be used for the primary with Rubio.
