Republican Senators John McCain and Tom Coburn included a Florida Atlantic University study on mice and alcohol in a report they say flags wasteful spending in the $787 billion federal stimulus project.
They note researchers at the school received $8,408 to study whether mice become disoriented when they consume alcohol.
"The researchers note that .spatial navigation. . . is essential for accurate moving about,. and that humans who consume alcohol have trouble with navigation, memory and attention."

I could have given them the answer for $2120.00.

Well obviously somebody needed an even more basic study...since the rodents in the picture are not mice. Scientific research is far more nuanced than can be explained in just a sentence taken out of context...and thank god because this research saves people's lives. This is silly nonsense...the most we can expect from the now defunct Republican Party. How bout the BILLIONS and LIVES for a war that had no purpose. That is their stimulus...war and death.
