House Dems want session delayed for black caucus

House Democratic caucus Leader Franklin Sands and leader Pro Tempore Geraline Thompson are asking House Speaker Larry Cretul to delay the start of the special session on commuter rail until Monday -- when members of the black caucus will have returned from their long-scheduled conference in Fort Lauderdale for the National Black Caucus of State Legislators. The conference is the end of this week, and the special session call issued last night has session starting Thursday morning.
