Arduin, Jeb's budget advisor, is back to help Senate

Donna Arduin is back.

Arduin, the former budget advisor for Jeb Bush who worked for House Speaker Marco Rubio to craft his crafted his property tax-sales tax swap, will work for the Senate's newly created budget office as the Legislature grapples with yet another whopping budget deficit.

Arduin, of the firm Arduin, Laffer & Moore Econometrics, was chosen for her experience with Florida's budget, said Sen. Mike Haridopolos. He said he also looks forward to the expertise of Arthur W. Laffer, who worked under President Ronald Reagan and is dubbed the father of Supply Side Economics.

"When's the last time we had this bad an economy? Under Jimmy Carter," Haridopolos said. "And who came after him? Ronald Reagan. And everybody knows he helped turn the economy around. So now we have his economist and we have Donna, who knows Florida."

Her Senate contract hasn't been finalized. She earned $10,000 a month under Rubio.

Cynical Idealist

That's why I don't like Mikee....

He never misses a chance to crack on the D's (Not that I don't like to crack on 'em, too, but I'm not trying to be a leader. What, you mean he isn't either?).

Frankly, the last time the economy was this bad was when W was president...and, Donna Arduin is just another half-baked economist, albeit with good legs.
