We hear that Orlando Sen. Andy Gardiner almost has the votes to become Senate President in 2015-2016. That would be after Don Gaetz in 2013-2014 and after Mike Haridopolos in 2011-2012.
Gardiner didn't pour cold water on the buzz, and would neither confirm nor deny the state of his candidacy. "I have to prove myself as a senator first," Gardiner said.
