Gov. Charlie Crist announced new radio and television spots for his U.S. Senate campaign today, seeking a blast of publicity before Sunday's debate with rival Marco Rubio.
It's a one-two, positive-negative punch. The radio ad tries to shore up Crist's conservative credentials by emphasizing his opposition to the new health care law. The tv ad attacks Rubio as an unethical political insider.
