In a heated race against a conservative Cuban-American from Miami, Gov. Charlie Crist sent out a letter of support Thursday to Miami's first couple of conga, Emilio and Gloria Estefan.
"Dear Emilio and Gloria," the letter begins. It reads, "As a display of solidarity, I urge all Floridians who believe in freedom to join with you and march in support of the Ladies in White."
Recent polls have Crist trailing former House Speaker Marco Rubio in the Republican U.S. Senate primary.
