A bill that would make animal bestiality a first-degree misdemeanor earned swift approval in the Senate’s Agriculture Committee Wednesday.
At least 34 states prohibit sex with animals, but not Florida. Senator Nan Rich, D-Sunrise, has been pushing the proposed law since at least 2008. Rep. James Waldman, D-Coconut Creek, is sponsoring the measure in the House. The bill exempts veterinary practices and animal husbandry.

does that mean that only the husband of the animal can have sex with her? ONLY KIDDING SENATOR..WOW..What a waste of time....Already have animal cruelty laws in place.
