The back story to Rubio's $134 barber bill

SHAVE_ClubShave_013126 This just in: U.S. Senate candidate Marco Rubio's $133.75 trip to the barber that he charged to his Republican party credit card in 2006 was not his first nor his last visit to Churchill's in Miami, an upscale/retro babershop that Mad Men's Don Draper would have patronized.

"He's a good customer,'' said owner Jose Goyanes, who added that the former House Speaker started coming in around 2005 roughly once every three weeks for $20 haircuts.

"He would be on his cell phone the whole time,'' Goyanes said. "He would come in and run out.''

Got that? No mani/pedi, and certainly no back wax. Base_media

"I don't think Marco Rubio would have the gall to have anything other than a haircut in this place,'' Goyanes said. "If he was going to get a back wax, he would probably get his good-looking wife to do it.''

Goyanes' billing system doesn't show exactly what Rubio got for $133.75 on Nov. 18, 2006, but employee Mirna Lopez recalled that he sometimes bought grooming products and gift certificates. (Rubio has said the bill was for a silent auction.) She said he favored American Crew shampoo, conditioner and pomade and Clubman shaving cream.
