Charlie Crist supporters are bristling that we keep asking him variations of the question: Will your name appear on the Republican primary ballot Aug. 24?
Until now, everyone's asked him if he'll run as a No Party Affiliation candidate or as an independent. He has said no. But Crist can still withdraw from the GOP primary against Marco Rubio, run on an NPA ticket AND still be a Republican. Asking if he'll actually withdraw from the primary is a little more specific. So we asked today.
Said Crist: "That's the last thing on my mind right now."
