Crist wanted no 'stamp of approval' on leadership funds

Gov. Charlie Crist defended his veto of the leadership funds bill today. "No reaction to their reaction I just think It was the right thing to do particularly in the current climate,'' he said after speaking to a crowd of environmentalists on Florida Forever Day at the Capitol. "Dealing with those slush funds, the last thing we ought to do is put a stamp of approval on it -- so we vetoed it."
