An email blast from the Sunshine Republicans, a six-month old gay and lesbian GOP group in Broward, sent Wednesday offers this tasty tip:
At 6:45 p.m. Monday at Nick's Italian Restaurant "you will want to be there as we hear an exciting surprise announcement from our special guest, Broward GOP Chairman Chip Lamarca."
LaMarca has talked for months about challenging Democrat and County Mayor Ken Keechl -- is this the "surprise" announcement? We couldn't reach LaMarca today and Ben Lewis, founder of the Sunshine Republicans group, wouldn't reveal the nature of the announcement.
Is Denapoli going to be there?
