Sink: I raised $1.1m

Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink's campaign for governor announced she raised $1.1 million last quarter. That's slightly ($300) less than her main opponent, Republican Attorney General Bill McCollum, raised. But you wouldn't know that from her emailed press release headline: "Alex Sink Continues Fundraising Lead, Raising Nearly $6.2 Million."

The body of the email, though, notes the $6.2m is the total raised. So she's ahead of McCollum in total. At least for now. McCollum and Republicans look like they're picking up some steam. Sink and Democrats? Not so much.
