Crist to become NPA voter tomorrow

Gov. Charlie Crist, in St. Pete tomorrow to open up a Coast Guard command post, told reporters he also hopes to make a pit-stop at the election supervisor’s office to change his voter registration to no party affiliation: “I’m independent. I’m free. And I think people want somebody who’s independent to represent them in the US Senate. So, I’m going to make my registration reflect that, too.”

Of course, Crist has already filed to run as an independent candidate, but has so far kept his individual registration as an R.
