AP: On the oil spill, the Kentucky GOP candidate -- a libertarian and tea party favorite -- said today he "had heard nothing from BP indicating it wouldn't pay for the spill that threatens devastating environmental damage along the Gulf of Mexico coast.
" 'And I think it's part of this sort of blame-game society in the sense that it's always got to be somebody's fault instead of the fact that maybe sometimes accidents happen,' Paul said."

I LIVE ACROSS THE OHIO RIVER FROM KY. DR. PAUL WON THE ELECTION BY CONVICING THE VOTERS HE WAS WORTHY OF THEIR TRUST. BP HAS SAID A NUMBER OF TIMES IT WILL PAY ALL THE COSTS CONNECTED WITH THE OIL SPILL. THAT SHOULD SATISFY RESONABLE PEOPLE.

In Rand Paul's world view "regulating a foreign oil company in Un-American, but sanctioning discrimination is preserving liberty"
