What disaster? Ileana Ros-Lehtinen takes to the House floor to declare South Florida "open for business"

"Florida is still open for business!" the Miami Republican declared on the House floor today, decrying recent news reports that she says "caused a premature public panic for visitors.

"Public beaches in my Congressional district of Miami and the Florida Keys are open - their waters warm and
inviting," she said. "C'mon down. The water's fine."
