And the Quinnipiac University poll continues to make news: Rick Scott, the former health care executive and political novice, holds a 13-point lead over Attorney General Bill McCollum in the GOP primary for governor. Scott has 44 percent compared to McCollum's 31 percent.
The Democratic primary for U.S. Senate is much closer: Kendrick Meek has 29 percent to billionaire Jeff Greene's 27 percent, while former Miami mayor Maurice Ferre has 3 percent. The biggest number? Undecideds with 37 percent.
Another word of caution included in the poll is that 60 percent of
voters said their decision might change before the Aug. 24 primaries.
Quinnipiac polled 814 likely Republican voters from June 2-8, with a
margin of error of 3.4 percent. It polled 785 likely Democratic voters
during the same time period, with a margin of error of 3.5 percent.

Don't know enough about Scott except that he is controversial due to the Columbia HCA thing. I think Floridians are just uninspired by Sink and McCollum....and we desperately need inspiring leadership after Charlie Crist.
