Charlie Crist visits Jewish assisted-living center in Miami

Senate candidate and current governor Charlie Crist spent some time with Jewish seniors Wednesday, touring the facilities at Miami Jewish Health Systems, an assisted-living center.

Crist, who showed up nearly an hour late to speak to a group of about 50 residents, talked up his support of assisted-living facilities and the Silver Alert, which is designed to located missing elderly people.

"Florida is so committed to our seniors, to make sure your quality of life is as good as it can be," he said.

At least one resident was swayed.

"I'm a lifelong Democrat and this is the first time I'm voting for an Independent," said Shirley Frishman, 87. Of the Democratic candidates, she added: "He's head and shoulders above them."

Give em hell Charlie!

Sunshine

The establishment political organizations led us into this economic crisis we are all suffering from. Charlie Crist offers voters an opportunity to break free of the Democrat and Republican chains. I hope Florida voters go to the polls and choose Charlie Crist for a new beginning.

LOL Whattajoke! Smile - say I love you - mention 'the people' and 'serve' four times at each appearance... and he should get elected? Is this how he plans to legislate?

Because Crist will caucus with Dems, the Herald/Times has decided to jump on board and give us this fluff piece.

I am good looking guy. I love senior citizens and care about serving them. I guess that means I am qualified to be a US senator as long as I agree to support the Reid agenda. Do I have it right Herald?

Ask yourselves - If Rubio had not run, and Crist was still on the (R) ticket,. would this video even exist? NO. Instead, there would be daily headlines about Crist NOT supporting seniors in some way, shape, or form.

This is what is meant by media malpractice.

Lyle: What are you doing down in SO FLA?

At least you think Charlie is a good looking guy. As I said there is hope for you yet.
