They share a similar trajectory, both running for state and federal office at the same time; some of the same goals for the country; and a foreclosure lawsuit in a home they own together in Tallahassee.
Now Republicans Marco Rubio and David Rivera have one more thing in common: a hotel to host their victory parties Tuesday night.
The two friends will be at the Doubletree Miami Hotel, 711 NW 72nd Ave., celebrating their expected wins in the GOP primary -- though their separate parties will be held in different rooms and start at different times.
Rubio is running for U.S. Senate; Rivera for U.S. House. Both candidates began their legislative careers in 2002, when they were elected to represent neighboring districts in the Florida House.

Let's see Palin, Angle, Dick Morris, Ann Coulter, and Rand Paul will likely be in attendance also.
