Charlie Crist on Clinton/Meek conversations: It's true

Charlie Crist said on MSNBC that he doesn't expect Kendrick Meek to drop out of the race: "I think that all three of us will be on the ballot.''

But he said he knew about the Clinton conversations. "How would I know?," he said, answering a question host Keith Olbermann said had been asked by the Meek campaign. "Because I had numerous phone calls with people very close to President Clinton. It's true.''

So let's see. Who do we believe? Clinton?? You've got to be kidding me! Crist (who has everything to gain)??

I believe Meek is telling the truth.

Also, people are calling Meek a spoiler. Again, are you kidding? He is the Democrat nominee. And the numbers between Crist and Meek are too close to call. Crist is the spoiler here! Will the Democratic leadership sell their own candidate down the road just to win the votes in Congress? This is just wrong! And it is bad for Florida, too!
