The Bill Clinton-Katy Perry connection

Seeing Bill Clinton the other day made me think of the lusty pop star Katy Perry, but not for the reason you might be thinking.

Her hit Hot N Cold, really about a fickle lover, perfectly describes the abrupt ups and downs of a political career:

Cause you're hot then you're cold

You're yes then you're no

You're in then you're out

You're up then you're down

If the wildly volatile 2010 campaign in Florida has taught us anything, it's that anyone can be rehabilitated -- or ruined -- in a single election cycle. Column here.
