From the White House pool report: President Obama is spending the day before the election that could cost his party dearly, "hunkered down in the West Wing of the White House."
Press Secretary Robert Gibbs says POTUS's schedule of closed meetings will include time to tape radio interviews scheduled to air election day throughout the country. And the president plans a round of phone calls tonight to "boost the morale of activists and other party organizers in key battleground states, including Florida, New Hampshire, New Mexico, and his native Hawaii."
Obama was also calling radio hosts in Honolulu and Miami after a live interview with Michael Baisden and taped radio interviews with Ryan Seacrest, Russ Parr and Steve Harvey that will air on Tuesday.
