Broward Democrats did well. The top committee is the Appropriations Committee, which is similar to the Congressional Ways and Means Committee and the Speaker appointed Representative Franklin Sands, Representative Marty Kiar and Representative Joe Gibbons. That is great for our area since they control a 70 billion dollar budget.
