Incoming Gov. Rick Scott announced today that FOX News host Greta Van Susteren will be the keynote speaker at the "Salute to Women in Leadership Breakfast" on Monday.
Susteren, a friend of incoming Attorney General Pam Bondi, is the host of "On the Record with Greta Van Susteren" and previously was host of CNN’s prime-time news and analysis show, "The Point with Greta Van Susteren." She won the American Bar Association’s Presidential Award for Excellence in Journalism for her legal analysis for CNN during the 2000 presidential election.

So Scientolist Van Susteren is going to speak. Does this mean that Rick Scott is also affiliated with Scientology? Sorry, but I'm not feeling it, Rick.

Fox and all their minnions, including Greta Van Susteren are thick as thieves. All they care about is the wealthy and keeping their wealth and do anything to support themselves. Wake up middle class ...they don't give a crap about you.

This was kind of a bizarre year for the mortgage market. In the first half of the year, you had a decent number of home sales keeping mortgages for purchases stable, thanks to the home buyer credit. In the second half of the year, that changed as demand crumbled when the credit was withdrawn. At the same time, you had very low mortgage interest rates throughout much of the year cause a mini-refinancing boom. 2011 will look very different, as the housing demand continues to struggle and mortgage interest rates have begun rising.

The new mortgage reforms will definitely have a significant impact on the housing market because many prospective homeowners will not be able to meet the stringent income to mortgage payment ratio of 28% and heftier down payments. As a result we will see more renters.

I agree just about 100% with this. You said it best when you wrote.
