The Bradenton Republican and one of the richest members of Congress has been named vice chair of finance for the National Republican Congressional Committee.
Committee chair Pete Sessions and deputy chairman Greg Walden Friday announced eight vice chairs for the 2102 election cycle.
"I am proud to announce my eight colleagues who will join NRCC leadership and help our team achieve another successful election cycle," Sessions said. He said the vice chairs will take "a leading role in developing the committee’s strategy and goals for 2012."
