Ileana Ros-Lehtinen to chair GOP fundraising dinner

The Miami Republican and House Foreign Affairs chair will host the National Republican Congressional Committee dinner March 30 to raise dollars for 2012. Co-chairs include Education and Workforce chair John Kline, R-Minn., and Energy and Commerce chairman Rep. Fred Upton, R-Mich.

RollCall reports the three "briefed members on fundraising goals Tuesday during a conference meeting at the Capitol Hill Club. The annual dinner is a fundraising boon for the NRCC; last year’s event raised $7 million."

Ileana is a fantastic representative for Florida. As a Democrat, I salute her.

Ros-Lehtinen represents Florida? What a surprise! I thought she represented a good part of Cuba.

We should have fund raisers for all the former members of the middle class who have now become members of the robbed class.
