The House Foreign Affairs Committee has named members of its subcommittees -- and Miami Republican Rep. David Rivera has been named to the oversight and investigations subcommittee.
Rivera, readers might recall, is the target of a criminal investigation into his personal and campaign expenses, and investigators also are examining his relationship with Esther Nuhfer, a political consultant who got $150,000 from the Miami-Dade Republican Party -- without detailed invoices as to what she did.
Rivera was also named to the Western Hemisphere subcommittee, chaired by Fort Myers Republican Rep. Connie Mack.
