Susie Wiles will help Smith & Ballard expand lobbying operation into Jacksonville

Susie Wiles, who ran Rick Scott's gubernatorial campaign, will head up a new Jacksonville office for Jim Smith and Brian Ballard's lobbying operation. Wiles will be joined by Tony Boselli, former Jacksonville Jaguar.

Wiles will also maintain an office in Tallahassee headquarters and "will be actively involved in providing strategic counsel for Smith & Ballard’s diverse client base," the firm said.

She's the latest Scott confidant to capitalize on her connections. Wiles is also expanding into presidential politics, recently taking the job as executive director of a political action committee formed by supporters of former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. Huntsman is U.S. Ambassador to China but yesterday announced his resignation.
